Long time no update. This whole going to school and working full-time is leaving me with very little time to work on the site. I'm going to try to start doing at least two updates a week though, so we won't have anymore dry spells like this one.With that said, it's time for a HUGE update.
Selene is really slow at getting her photos together, so we just now posted her shots of Motion City Soundtrack from July.

So I'm basically convinced that almost everyone on our staff took over a million photos on Warped this year. We're STILL not done with the updates!The rest of Taylor's photos from Warped Tour on 7/8 are up. You'll find new galleries of Armor For Sleep, Gym Class Heroes, hellogoodbye and Hit The Lights if you click the little photo link to your left.
Almost all of Kate's from the same stop are up as well. Her photos consist of hellogoodbye, Hit The Lights, Motion City Soundtrack, Saosin, Saves The Day (normal and acoustic), The Academy Is... and Thursday. The only ones we have left to upload are of Less Than Jake, which should be coming later this week.
I've also uploaded all but one of Ashley's galleries from her Warped stop on 7/4. New photos of Motion City Soundtrack, Paramore, The Academy Is..., and The Germs (featuring Shane West on vocals this summer.) We're just waiting on her Throwdown photos and we'll be all caught up on her photos from Warped.
Finally, Selene's photos from the final stop of Warped that TSWC will be covering, the 7/23 date in Denver are starting to be posted. If you head over to the Pistolita gallery, you will find a handful of photos from their set.
If my math is correct that's 17 galleries for you to check out, so hopefully that will keep you all busy.

Our problem is fixed! The galleries are now back up and running the way they should be. We've also got another huge update for you. Four (yes that says four) new galleries of Hit The Lights and one of Jacks Mannequin from Ashley are up for your viewing pleasure. Also, more of Kate's photos are up: The Pink Spiders, Motion City Sountrack, Hit The Lights, The Academy Is... and Saves The Day (x2) all have new galleries thanks to her.There will be even more Warped Tour photos coming in still, so keep your eyes out for those.

So our good buddy Scott (who, according to word on the street is designing our new website) figured out what the issue was with the galleries and I'm currently working on fixing it. The photos page should be back up tonight, with a pretty hefty update.I also just added a handful of shows to the calendar, so check that and see where we're going to be.

The photos page is down for a little bit until I can figure out what's going on with the galleries. It appears as if the program we use to create them isn't getting along very well with the latest flash upgrade, so people who have the upgrade and are viewing the site can do things that they shouldn't be able to do. I'm trying to figure out how to fix this problem as fast as I can and I'm sorry if anyone was just dying to look at the photos. I promise they'll be back up as soon as possible, and when it works again there will be another huge update.

Some of Ashley's Warped photos (she went to roughly 7 million stops) are up as well. She took photos of Armor For Sleep, Cartel (x3), Eighteen Visions, and Gym Class Heroes.

And we're back, with the biggest update in The Smoke Will Clear history. Because of the intense load of photos, I'm going to have to post these in waves (mostly because it takes a while to go through and decide which photos we want to bring you.)Because I have no life and all I ever do is work on this website and edit photos, mine are the first ones ready. If you head over to the galleries you'll find new photos of Cartel, two galleries of Gym Class Heroes, two galleries of Hit The Lights, and two galleries of Saves The Day.
We have a tonnnnn of amazing new friends and I think you should go look and check those out. The gallery decided to reorganize itself, so you may have to look through some faces you've already seen to get to the new ones, but really now, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
I'd like to thank everyone who hung out with us while we standing in line and waiting for bands to play well before their sets, anyone who actually took the time to listen to us talk about this baby of ours, and every single one of the new friends we made this past week. You guys showing an interest in this website is what makes it worth it to us, so thank you again.

So as I was uploading Christina's new Thursday photos that she took while over in the UK, I realized that we didn't have any pictures of them yet. Yeah, I don't get how we pulled that off either, but there are some new ones up now. Or you could just be lazy and wait until I make an announcement about it. Whatever works for you.

So this update has been about a week in the making. Prepare to be completely overwhelmed by photography goodness. New pictures of The Sleeping, Halifax and Bayside are brought to you by Christina. Taylor got some amazing shots of Nightmare Of You, Paramore and The Rocket Summer for you. Finally, Kate and I went on a little mini-tour last week to San Francisco and Sacramento, where we met some amazing new friends. We have for you two new galleries of The Outline, four galleries of Cute Is What We Aim For, six galleries of Jack's Mannequin, two of Brandston, two of Nightmare Of You, two of Paramore, and two of The Rocket Summer.

You might have noticed that the site is running a little faster, or that some photos/bands have dissapeared from our gallery. I did a little spring cleaning this past week and deleted a tooooon of stuff that really didn't need to be on here. We only want to bring you the best we can.

As of sometime after I went to bedlast nightthis morning, everything is back up and running. I haven't had a chance to go through and check everything yet, but hopefully there's nothing wrong. So some of you may have noticed we had a bit of down time yesterday. Basically, the site just dissapeared. After contacting our host we learned that our account had "been breached and files deleted." And by files, they meant everything we had uploaded to this site.I'm almost amused, almost.
As of right now (11:35 pst) all of the pages are back up. After this is uploaded I'll be working on getting all of the photos back up, which will probably take all day. Thankfully I have the entire site backed up on my computer in case something like this happened.
So a big thank you to whoever "breached" our account. It's kind of flattering that someone would think highly enough of us to want to do something like this.
